General Laborer
Milford Borough is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. The qualified candidate will assist in operations, maintenance, and repair within the Department of Public Works, Division of Water, Sewer and Roads. Applicant will be required to maintain roads, stormwater basins, mow lawns, plow snow, collect leaves, maintain and install water mains, valves, pumps, hydrants, sewer service equipment, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge and experience of equipment used for maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment and road maintenance equipment is a plus. Requirements for the position include a valid NJ driver's license, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. 40 hours per week. After 90 days of successful employment, health benefits are offered. This position requires the applicant to be available to work 24 hours a day, seven days per week, as the need arises.
